Strikers Fox Valley College Class of 2008
Thirteen high school senior girls from the Strikers Fox Valley Traveling Soccer Club have committed to continue their soccer careers at the collegiate level next year. Seven players signed National Letters of Intent February 11 to play NCAA Division I: Kara Nitti (St. Charles East) and Kailey Gear (Batavia), Arkansas State; Mary Wandolowski (Batavia), Wisconsin-Milwaukee; Leah Johnson (Wheaton-Warrenville South), Bowling Green State; Crossley Simmons (St. Francis), Stetson University; Rachel McMahon (Lake Park), Holy Cross; Ashley Marrapode (Nequa Valley), Northern Arizona. Ellen Bartindale (St. Charles East) will play at Notre Dame. NCAA Division 3 and NAIA commitments are: Tatum Teevans (Wheaton Academy), Millikin University; Jessica Ludwig (Crystal Lake South), Houghton College; Mary Pat Holtrop (St. Charles North), Kayla Radloff (West Chicago), Caitlin Winkelman (St. Charles North); Augustana College; and Hannah Oppenheimer (Naperville Central), New York University.

G.O.A.L.S - G.O.A.L.S is a group developed by Strikers players and adopted by the Strikers Fox Valley Club. This group promotes service in the community. Members in pictures include Kait Krause, Kelly Davis, Liz Drenna, Alex Hanna, Amanda Steimle, Katherine Allon, Sarah O'Dell, Allie Samann, Christina Rueth, Jenna Perdersen, Kaily Rote, Kathleen Daily, Kerry Savage, Shaylee Pedersen, Zoie Samaan, Kristin Rodriquez, Bridgette Mitchell Roni Resek, Maggie
Hoscheit, Jamie Rust, Katie Mitchell , Sammy Gage, Paige Dusak and Alyssa Peterson. On April 5th, Striker's Soccer girls delivered blankets they had made to
the pediatric department of Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital in Wheaton. On May 4th they manned the water station at the Special Olympic Marathon.

| Strikers Fox Valley is pleased to announce the 2008 All Sectional Girls Soccer Team announced at the Illinois High School Soccer Association's 22nd Annual Girls Honors Banquet held June 5th. Many of the players either currently play for our club's President, Pat Feulner at St. Charles East or have played in the past for him. Pat Feulner was also awarded Varsity Soccer Coach of the Year. Congratulations to Coach Feulner and all the girls! The list. | ||
